Perenia has been engaged by the Company to calculate its GHG emissions inventory for the 2007/08 financial year and provide advice in regards to current and future legislative liabilities, including the National Greenhouse and Energy Reporting Act, Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme and the Energy Efficiency Opportunities Act. The Company owns and operates approximately 1,290 kilometres of track and civil infrastructure in South Australia and provides interstate services that extend to all mainland States and Territories except Queensland.
In addition provided a workshop for The Company Senior Management to facilitate discussions surrounding the company GHG Inventory and any associated liabilities as well as the implementation of future energy and GHG management strategies.
