Carbon management solutions

Provided consultancy services to the company requiring energy and greenhouse gas auditing for the purposes of improving energy efficiency and to become Greenhouse Challenge Plus members, and with a future goal to become carbon neutral. The project involved conducting level 1 and level 2 energy baseline assessments; calculating greenhouse gas emissions and key Greenhouse Performance Indicators for future reference; providing a list of energy efficiency measures including costings; preparation of a Cooperative Agreement and action plan for submission to the AGO; preparing a basis for a Greenhouse Inventory Quality Management System; and conducting a cost analysis on achieving carbon neutral status for the corporation and its operations throughout Australia.
Draft and final energy audit reports were provided showing baseline carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) emissions for the year 2006/2007. Documentation was prepared in a format ready to be submitted to the Greenhouse Challenge Plus programme. In addition, options to achieve carbon neutral status and costs associated were outlined.
